This engine is built on a 6.7 liter, 6 cylinder Iveco diesel which is renowned for its smooth running characteristics and high torque and long life. This engine is EPA tier 4 compliant and is available on the correct mounts to replace an old 6 cylinder Lehman Ford or similiar. These engines are very popular in Europe on commerical vessels because of the reasons mentioned above and the ease of service. It is available as a bobtail engine or with a number of different transmission by PRM, Twindisc/Technodrive and ZF.
